The Gift of Peace

St John 14:27 (NKJV)


27) Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.



When Jesus left this earth, He sent a precious gift called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comforts, guides, and protects you. The Holy Spirit was also sent to give you peace. The peace the Holy Spirit gives is one of inner peace and quietness. This is not some temporary peace that you can have occasionally. This peace is from everlasting to everlasting. The next time you feel fearful or anxious about anything, tap into the Holy Spirit. You do this by worship and prayer. You are a child of God. You do not allow Satan to have control over your spirit.
