1) Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2) But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
Today our focus will be on verse 2 of this passage. This psalmist is talking about how wonderful it is to meditate on the Word of God. The word "delight" means to have great pleasure. You are to have pleasure in God's word. The word "meditate" means to ponder or think about something over and over again. If you make it a habit to delight and meditate on the Word, your mind will be renewed.
