7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
There is a difference between natural fear and the spirit of fear. Natural fear keeps us safe. The fear of crossing the street during a busy traffic, going near a dog that is growling at you or sticking your hand into a fire, are all examples of natural fear. The spirit of fear is not natural. The spirit of fear is demonic, and it is designed to paralyze you in the things of God. The spirit of fear is the enemy of faith, power, love and a sound mind. Know the difference.
